One of the other things I love about autumn, apart from the colour of leaves, is the smell of them as they rot down in the soil. Very sweet, aromatic.

That’s true. I tend to rely on my eyes and ears (love listening to leaves fall and rustle) but I must remember to sniff more. Thanks for the reminder, Val. 🙂
