Forest Farm Nature Reserve, a very chilly day after a heavy frost …

Me: ‘Hello, robin. You look like you’re feeling the cold today.’
Robin: ‘Yes, I could do with some food.’

Me: ‘What a little cutie, you are.’
Robin: ‘I’d look even cuter with food.’

Me: ‘I’m sorry I don’t have any food for you today.’
Robin: ‘I’ll sing if you give me food.’

Me: ‘You’re posing so nicely. Thank you for the photos.’
Robin: ‘You can pay me in food.’

Me: ‘You’re making me feel guilty that I don’t have anything for you.’
Robin: ‘Lady, FOOD!’

Me: ‘I do have a muesli bar for my lunch. Maybe you’d like some of that?’
Robin: ‘At last! Where is it?’

Me: ‘There you go. Just a few crumbs to warm you up.’
Robin: ‘Bit miserly but better than nothing.’

Me: ‘Gotta go. Nice to talk to you.’
Robin: ‘Tra la la la la!’
What an adorable little bird. Our robins here in the States look nothing like that. I thought maybe it was a kind of bluebird. Very nice pix, too.
They are the cutest little birds, Debbie, especially in winter when they fluff themselves up against the cold. Thanks for dropping by, and very pleased you liked the photos. 🙂
I absolutely adore chubby little birds, and thus one is such an absolute cutie! Wonderful photographs!
Thanks, Laura. Robins are even cuter when they fluff themselves up in the cold weather. I love them too. 🙂
OH this is so cute!!!!
I hope we made you smile today, Lauri. Thank you. 🙂
Annie, this made my day!
My craziness or the pretty robin, Cindy? I hope I made you smile. Thank you. 🙂
