I know I’ve blogged about Cardiff’s ‘Mutant Ninja Turtle’-phase remnants before but, when I spotted this Yellow-bellied slider (Trachemys scripta subsp. scripta) during a recent visit to Roath Park Lake, I couldn’t resist taking more photographs, particularly as he was sitting atop an old Coot’s nest very close to the lake’s edge and had such a haughty look on its face.
