Oh, very well done. I’ll have to ask a friend about the mystery berries. It’s a very low-growing plant – I’ll need to get better photos of its parts. 🙂

Hmmm, now you’ve put me on the spot as I actually don’t know one of these. They are: guelder rose, bramble, hawthorn, spindle, elderberry, unknown and cotoneaster.

You are probably right as my tree ID skills are very poor. (And this is why I never forage! I might poison myself.) Perhaps Dogwood?
