I saw my first Holly blue of the year on 15 April but it took 10 more days to find one, this stunning female, sitting still long enough to take a reasonable photo.

Here’s a cool coincidence: I had looked up the Holly Blue butterfly earlier today because I was writing my query letter and wanted to double check something. My book is called Beatrix Butterfly and she (Beatrix) is a Holly Blue.
When I went to switch off my phone for yoga, there was your post. I thought I was in my history in my earlier google search for some reason, but no!
When I turned my phone back on I couldn’t find you, but now I have!
